Mizuki has a lithe, seemingly frail figure and feminine features. He keeps his hair short and while naturally strait, he has a habit of twirling the ends and so it often looks wavy.

History: When Mizuki was young he was practically raised by his grandmother as his parents were often busy with work. His grandmother doted on him and would say what a pretty boy he was, it was a shame he wasn’t a girl. When on play dates with other children he would often play dress up as a princess and order the other kids about. After Mizuki turned nine he declared to his bewildered parents that he was really a girl and began to use female nomenclature to refer to himself.

His parents thought it was perhaps a phase and let the behavior continue, convincing themselves that their son would soon grow out of it. As Mizuki grew older his childhood friends started making fun of him and would refuse to play with him anymore. He would become moody and more flamboyant, throwing his chosen identity in their faces. In middle school this culminated in threatening notes and bullying. Worried for his safety, his parents transferred Mizuki to another school and enrolled him as a girl. Mizuki was pretty and outgoing, and soon had a series of boyfriends who were unaware that he was biologically male.

Mizuki clung to these boys, seeking acceptance and performing many sexual favors, though always stopping short of anything that would reveal his gender. They would dump him when his demands and public displays would become too much for them. Mizuki sought relationships with ever rougher individuals, playing games with them and seeing how far he could push. He eventually pushed one too far, getting the boy so worked up that he forced himself on Mizuki until it was revealed that he was male. Angry and disgusted, the other boy beat him and revealed him to the school.

The school councilors and Mizuki’s parents decided that they had let things go to far and sent Mizuki to the institution for treatment shortly before he turned eighteen. He has been at the institution now for four months.

Gender identity disorder: (copied from wiki)The formal diagnosis is used by psychologists and physicians to describe persons who experience significant gender dysphoria (discontent with the biological sex they were born with).

Gender identity disorder in children is usually reported as "having always been there" since childhood, and is considered clinically distinct from GID which appears in adolescence or adulthood, which has been reported by some as intensifying over time. Since many cultures strongly disapprove of cross-gender behavior, it often results in significant problems for affected persons and those in close relationships with them. In many cases, discomfort is also reported as stemming from the feeling that one's body is "wrong" or meant to be different.

Many transgender people do not regard their cross-gender feelings and behaviors as a disorder. People within the transgender community often question what a "normal" gender identity or "normal" gender role is supposed to be. One argument is that gender characteristics are socially constructed and therefore naturally unrelated to biological sex. This perspective often notes that other cultures, particularly historical ones, valued gender roles that would presently suggest homosexuality or transsexuality as normal behavior.

Histrionic identity disorder: (copied from wiki) The essential feature of histrionic personality disorder is an excessive pattern of emotionality and attention-seeking behavior. These individuals are lively, dramatic, enthusiastic, and flirtatious. They may be inappropriately sexually provocative, express strong emotions with an impressionistic style, and be easily influenced by others.

Mizuki thinks of himself as female and the female aspects of this disorder apply to him more than the male traits. Women with HPD are described as self-centered, self-indulgent, and intensely dependent on others. They are emotionally labile and cling to others in the context of immature relationships. Females with HPD over-identify with others; they project their own unrealistic, fantasized intentions onto people with whom they are involved. They are emotionally shallow to avoid distress and have difficulty understanding themselves or others in any depth.

Selection of marital or sexual partners is often highly inappropriate. The majority of the time their partners will have symptoms of personality disorders, equal to, or far worse than their own. Women with HPD often tend to enter into abusive relationships with partners who increase the abuse as time wears on. Pathology increases with the level of intimacy in relationships, which is exactly the same for males with HPD.
Women with HPD may show inappropriate and intense anger masking their internal battle between the quest for intimacy and avoiding pathology. HPD women with borderline tendencies often form entirely negative convictions towards the male gender and treat them like pawns as a defense mechanism concealing their own inadequacies. They may engage in self-mutilation and/or manipulative suicide threats as one aspect of general manipulative interpersonal behavior.

Mizuki sighed and twirled another strand of hair around his finger as he watched the people walking by the chair he’d claimed near the nurse station. None of the men he’d seen so far had looked all that interesting. He wanted a challenge this time. That doctor he’d seduced last week had been far too easy to crack and had transferred out the day after. Mizuki would have liked to play with the man a bit longer, but there was always other prey. Maybe he’d try that cannibal fellow, but Mizuki didn’t much like the idea of a bit of his face being bitten off in a moment of passion. There had to be someone better. Nfu nfu nfu. Was that a new man he saw being checked in? Mizuki checked him out, admiring the firm rear and back he could see from this angle. He hoped the man was as attractive from the front~.
